Updating your iPhone to iOS 16.0.3 is very easy. Go to Settings > General > Software Updates, then ask iOS to check for updates. When it’s available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
If you have auto-update turned on, your iPhone will eventually update itself. However, this may take a few weeks, but it looks like Apple is trying to speed up the installation of automatic security updates in order to protect as many iPhones as possible. That being said, the fastest way to install iOS 16.0.3 is to do it manually.
