NetEase Games has partnered with 343 Industries alumni to found Jar of Sparks to create the next generation of narrative action games with immersive worlds.
Two months after Jackalope Games was founded in Austin, Texas, Jar of Sparks opens its doors in Seattle, Washington. Led by Jerry Hook, former Head of Design for Halo Infinite, the line-up included Creative Director Paul Crocker, who served as Senior Writer on the Batman Arkham Trilogy, and Halo Infinite Associate Creative Director, Executive Producer Greg Stone, who worked on the reboot of Doom and Halo Infinite, and Also director of gameplay Steve Dyke, who served as director of animation and design for the SSX, NBA Street and Halo franchises, the new American studio NetEase aims to create completely new licenses with unparalleled characters, stories and worlds to spark the imagination of gamers around the world.
