Next, you will receive a prompt on the screen. Your friend will then need to sign in with a valid PlayStation account. If they don’t have an account, they can also play as a guest. After that, the screen will split in half, allowing you to enjoy the game with a friend. A maximum of 4 players can play split screen at the same time.

The steps to play Minecraft split screen on Xbox are the same as those on PlayStation. All you have to do is connect another Xbox controller after starting the game.
