How to fix Apple Card cannot be used error
Apple launched its own Apple Card back in August 2019 in partnership with Goldman Sachs. Even though it’s a physical card, you can use it to make digital payments with Apple Pay.
Apple Card works like a credit card, but without fees. What’s more, you get 2% daily cashback every time you make a purchase with your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Affected users will see a “This card cannot be used”message under their Apple Card. Here is how to solve this problem:
- Go to the Wallet app → tap Apple Card.
- Select Remove card below the notification.
- Add the Apple Card back to your wallet by clicking the Add (+) button in the top right corner → Previous Cards.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add your Apple Card to Wallet again.
