No matter which browser you use on your Android smartphone, it accumulates files over time. If you do nothing, they will take up a lot of space on your device. And it not only slows down your browser, but your entire phone. The solution is simple: feel free to delete these files regularly.
In each browser, the procedure for clearing the cache and temporary files is slightly different. Below are the procedures for the most common:

Open your browser, press the “Menu”button with three small dots, go to “History > Clear Browsing Data”.
From there, make sure the “Period”option is placed in “All Data”and check “Cookies and Site Data”and “Cached Images and Files”. Then click “Clear Data”.
Samsung Internet
If you own a Samsung smartphone, chances are you’re using the South Korean giant’s own browser. Open it, click on the “Menu”button with three small dashes in the upper right corner. Go to Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data. There, select “Cookies and Site Data”and “Cached Images and Files”. Then click “Clear data”and confirm.

How to Clear the Cache of Any Android App
If you’re using a less common browser like Brave or Opera, look for the “History”section in settings and you’ll find this option.
There is also a more global option to clear the cache of any application, but do not use it for applications such as a password manager or a bank, as you may lose important data. Open your Android smartphone’s settings, then go to Apps & Notifications (or Apps) > App Info and select the app you want to clear the cache of. Then go to the “Storage and Cache”section and click on “Clear Cache”. Temporary files will be deleted instantly.
