Can’t find Hazel, the unicorn in Hogwarts Legacy? There are many challenging side quests in this game such as Unique Unicorn. In doing so, you are given the task of rescuing an injured unicorn known as Hazel. Although finding and catching her is not so easy. If you’re stuck with this part as well, then this guide is all you need. Here’s everything you need to know.
How to find and capture Hazel in Hogwarts Legacy
Having the right spells and equipment is a must before starting the quest. Similarly, it’s best to equip a suitable spell before trying to find Hazel in the Unique Unicorn side quest. Speaking of which, make sure you pick Disillusionment, Glacius and Accio. Place the Nab-Sack in the last slot.
For those who don’t know, the Nab-Sack is a piece of equipment that teleports the Beast directly to the Vivarium. It opens after completing the Elf, Nab-Sak and the Loom quest.

Once you’ve finished equipping the above items, head to the Unicorn’s Lair to find Hazel. She can be found on the southeast side of the Forbidden Forest in the Hogwarts Legacy. You can find Hazel from the sky while flying on your broomstick. Or you can use Revelio to highlight the Unicorn if she is nearby. In the meantime, don’t forget to use the Disenchantment Charm to turn invisible and get closer to Hazel. Also, be aware that she may notice you if you get too close to her.
In the next step, use Accio and then Glacius to freeze or immobilize Hazel. Also, use the Nab-Sack to rescue Hazel and send her to the Vivarium in Hogwarts Legacy. After that, return back to Betty Bagbrook (the lady who gave you this quest) in Hogsmeade. Interact with her to finally complete the unique unicorn quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
