Haklangr is one of them, and with the right strategy, you can easily defeat him. Here are some important tips on how to beat Beat Haklangr.
Tricks to defeat Haklangr
All berserker bosses are strong enemies, so you should have powerful armor. I’m going to share a standard build that will help you analyze if your current stats are good or not. The boss appears when you interact with the tombstone. Near the Vanahiema crater. In the image above, you will find the same to unlock the Haklangr boss fight.
- Strength – 300+
- Protection – 300+
- RNA – 150+
- HIT – 100+
- KLD – 100+
- LWe – 100+
- Armor – Level 7 or higher.
Haklangr is a slow boss, unlike the berserker boss Skjotendi. He is fast and attacks from the air. But Haklangr mostly stays on the ground holding his heavy weapons. Haklangr is easily stunned, but only when the yellow ring is glowing. Red Ring attacks deal high damage and you cannot parry them back.
- When you approach the boss for the first time, activate Fury. Haklangr will be standing with a huge axe. Deal maximum damage at the beginning, which will take away 25% of his health.
- Haklangr dodges left and right and it will take a few seconds to unleash a heavy attack. Similar to how he smashes his ax on the ground, the green color indicates the damage range. Just stay away from there.
- While attacking, if you see a red circle, dodge, the range of this attack is high. So make sure you keep your distance.
- Try to stun Haklangr with a shield, just wait for the yellow ring, come up and attack with the shield. He will stun the boss for a while and then perform some combos.
- Atreus or Freya, if in a fight there will be little help. Focus more on dodging to the side and then on attacking.
Haklangr always pauses after a heavy attack, during which time you can use skills and hit him harder. Most of your heavy attacks hit perfectly, as Haklangr won’t be able to counter them. But when he raises his axe, he jumps and dodges. The problem with the Haklang boss fight is that it will take time. His health bar is high and he will have several rampages during the fight. So you have to be accurate in your attack. We hope the tips in this guide will help you easily defeat Haklangr in GOW Ragnarok.
