How to Approach the Animals in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Among the many features of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the cutest feature of the game is the Critters. These tiny animals can become your companions. You can take them with you on your adventure throughout the game. But for this, you will need to approach them and feed them their favorite food twice. While some animals are easy to approach, some may require some effort and will often run or hide. Hence, this guide on how to handle animals in Disney Dreamlight Valley will help you get them.

How to approach the animals in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley?

In the Valley you can find 8 different creatures, namely:

squirrel
Rabbit
Raccoon
Crocodile
Fox
Sea turtle
sun bird
Crow

Squirrels are the most accessible animals. All you need is to face them and press the interact button.
To get close to rabbits or bunnies, you will need to play tag with them. They will run and you will need to chase them 3 times until they stop and then you can use the interaction button to get close to them.
Also, foxes play a similar game of tag as rabbits, when you approach them, chase them 3 times and they will be ready to approach.
Raccoons are difficult to approach. You need patience when approaching them. Approaching the Raccoons is like playing with red green light. Wait for them to sit on their hind legs and don’t move if they are standing or they will run away. Do this until you are close enough that they are ready to interact.
Just like raccoons, crocodiles are available in the same way. The only difference is that they stop moving when their eyes are up.
Sea turtles are the most shy. As soon as you approach them, they hide in their shell. Wait a while and let them come out of their shell, and then they can be approached using the interactive button.
Like Squirrels, Sun Birds are readily available. Just run into them and press the interact button to get close to them.
Crows don’t need much effort either. Get close to them and let them float and do 3 rounds around your head. Once they have completed 3 rounds, press the interact button to approach them.
