How to Show Battery Percentage on iPhone (All Models)

If you use your iPhone day in and day out, it’s smart to keep an eye on your battery percentage. After all, you don’t want him to die right in the middle of a game or some important work.

On an iPhone with Face ID, Apple has to put a lot of icons on the status bar, such as cellular signal strength, Wi-Fi, etc. With that in mind, the way to display battery percentage on iPhone 13, 12 series, 11 series, and iPhone The XR is next: slightly different from the iPhone SE 2022, 8 and earlier.

No matter what iPhone model you have, we’ve got you covered. Without further ado, let’s take a look at how to show iPhone battery percentage.

To see battery percentage in iOS 16 Developer Beta 5

Before we continue:

  • For now, this feature is only available in iOS 16 Developer Beta 5 or higher; you can either
    • Download the latest developer beta by following this article, or
    • Wait for a stable release (probably September).
  • It will be available on iPhone 12/13 mini, 11, or XR (OLED iPhone model > 5.4-inch screen size).
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone with iOS Developer Beta 5 or later.
  2. Scroll down and tap Battery.
  3. Turn on battery percentage.

As they say, better late than never; I’m glad we finally have a feature. However, you’ll still have to keep your fingers crossed in hopes that the public version of iOS 16 has this feature.

While I might add one more thing, as an avid user interface design student, I feel this implementation is not something that Jony Ive would have liked. It doesn’t feel as seamless as it could be. But then that’s what it is.
