How to get a flamethrower in Metroid Prime Remastered

One of the most powerful upgrades you can get in Metroid Prime Remastered is the flamethrower. A fun fact about this attack is that it was featured in Super Smash Bros for the N64. And this game was released before the original Metroid Prime. But enough trifles, below is the place where you can find this power.

How to get a flamethrower in Metroid Prime Remastered

You can get a flamethrower at the mine guard station in the Phazon Mines. Check the map above for its exact location. Remember that you first need a plasma beam to get into the room where it is located. You will receive a Plasma Beam in the Magmoor Caverns. So, if you already have it, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the mine guard station.
  2. Inside this room, use the Power Bomb to destroy the cage-like wall.
  3. This will show an activation lock scan to disable the force field.
  4. Now go to the bottom of this room. Use the plasma beam to remove obstacles in your path. You can kill or ignore the enemies that are trying to attack you.
  5. Use your plasma beam to open the red door.
  6. Walk through it and you will get a flamethrower.

How to use a flamethrower

You can use a flamethrower if you have a plasma beam. Just use the plasma beam and press and hold ZR or A to charge the flamethrower. Now press the R button to shoot. You can hold down the ZR or A button while firing to fire continuously. This attack will use missiles when active.

Now that you have a flamethrower, it will be even easier to fight enemies in the game.
