How to get the lighting guide in Genshin Impact (Talent book)

Genshin Impact offers many different types of talents for a wide variety of characters. If you want to improve your talents, you can use different talent books to level them up. The Guide to Light is one of the Books of Light and Talents that can be used to level up selected characters. But most players don’t understand how to get or find this book. Don’t worry, here’s how you can get the Light Guide in Genshin Impact.

How to get the lighting guide in Genshin Impact

There are two ways to get the Guide to the Light books:

  • Completion of the vine-strewn ruins in purple ruins
  • Creating books with alchemy

So let’s take a closer look at Genshin Impact’s Lighting Guide.

Completing the ruins strewn with vines

You can complete the Vine-Lined Ruins in the Violet Court mastery area to get a Guide to the Light. This domain is located on the island of Narakumi. But since the Purple Court rewards players with an ever-changing set of talent books, you should only complete the domain on certain days. You can only complete the Vine Fested Ruins domain on Wednesday and Saturday to receive the Guide to the Light book. In addition, you can also do it on Sundays, as all mastery domains are available at the same time.

But if you can’t play them due to low adventure or alchemy rank, try another method.

A guide to creating light with alchemy

You can create a Guide to the Light using some crafting ingredients. These crafting resources are as follows:

  • x3 Teachings of Light
  • 175 Mora

You can find the Teachings of Light inside treasure chests scattered throughout the open world. But these items drop most often in the Vine Fested Ruins domain. Once you get the required materials, head to the alchemist’s workbench. You can interact with it and use the aforementioned items to craft the Guide to Light books. You can also craft 1 Philosophy of Light book with 3 Light Book Guides and 550 Pestilence.
