How to tag in WWE 2K23
Tag Team mode allows you to recreate your own tag team matches. Gather two or more superstars and team up against your fellow wrestlers. During a match, you can switch between teammates by performing a tag. Press L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox to tag. But there is much more to doing a successful tag. WWE 2K23 improves upon the tag system by adding multiple gameplay options.
The base mark can be done by moving your character to the corner of your team and pressing LB/L1. Your teammate will be called to take your place and you are now playing as him. You can tag your teammates at any time during a match. The tag can also be used to help you out of difficult situations. When your wrestler’s stamina starts to deplete, you can crawl to your corner and tag your teammate, he will enter the ring with an extra burst of energy. You can also use the tag to perform some team combos. Place your opponent in your team’s corner, press A/X to activate the move mark. Your teammate will now join you for a special double team takedown.
