To build this structure, you will need two items:

Magazines
ropes

Speaking of magazines, you’ll need a lot of them. Your AI companion, Kelvin, will help you collect them faster. As for the rope, you will find it in places like enemy camps, caves, beaches, and some other places. Once you have the ropes, you can move on to building the structure itself. Find a suitable place for the bridge and place all resources there.

To build a suspension bridge in Sons of the Forest:

Lay the log horizontally on the ground.
Then place two logs at the ends of the horizontal log.
Now lay one log horizontally on top of this structure to create a frame.
Fill the gap with other pieces of logs.
After that, place two logs on either side of this wall.

Then look between them and cycle through the building options until you find a staircase-like outline. Once you find it, click LMB to create a ladder.

Then go to the other side where you want the bridge to end and create the same structure.
Now get down and take the rope in your hand.
Look at the structure until you see an arrow pointing to the other end of the bridge. Once it appears, click LMB.

Now go to the other end and look at the top of the structure, click LMB twice to connect the two ropes.
Once you’ve done that, climb up the structure and look between the ropes until you see two horizontal arrows.
