Simba and Nala, the beloved couple, are now ready to join your Disney Dreamlight Valley adventure. However, you will have to complete certain tasks before this happens. All you have to do is complete the Eyes in the Dark quest chain to power this iconic duo into action. At one point, Simba will ask you to cook a bug dish for Nala. This will help you win Simba’s trust even more. Also, delicious food is always welcome. That being said, here’s how you can prepare a 5-star insect meal in Dreamlight Valley during the Eyes in the Dark quest.
How to cook a 5-star bug meal in Dreamlight Valley
As with any other dish in this game, you will need to collect ingredients to prepare the Insect Dish. In this case, you need to collect 3 types of bugs, which include a colorful bug, a red bug, and a slimy bug as ingredients. Fortunately, collecting such bugs is a task that you get before cooking. So, you will know where to gather all 3 of these ingredients before preparing the bug dish.

After collecting them, head to the Cooking Station and use the following items:
- 2 colorful beetles
- 2 red beetles
- 1x slimy bug
Upon completion of the cooking process, you will receive the Insect Dish in Dreamlight Valley. Then head to Simba and Nala to give them the 5-star Insect Dish. After that, you will help both of them fight off the hyenas. Eventually, Nala and Simba will visit your island in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
