Recording your screen is always useful when you need to share your tasks or save live sessions so you can return to them at any time. Even though it is a simple task, many people don’t know how to view a Mac recording without sound loss.
While this can be done using the system apps, you will be missing out on many important features, such as the ability to schedule a recording or make necessary changes as needed.
Many apps claim to be the best screen recorder for Mac that can even record internal audio, but not all of them are good. Most of them are guaranteed to waste your time.
In this article, we’ll take a look at EaseUS RecExperts and see if it’s worth your time and money. We will also look at how to record screen and audio at the same time on Mac using EaseUS RecExperts.
Why do you need screen recording on Mac?
There are many reasons why you should use screen recording on Mac. Some of them have been discussed below:
- Online meeting: It is not always easy to remember what is said in online meetings as they can be long. Hence, you can use a good screen recorder app to record these meetings on popular apps like Skype and FaceTime and even apps like Zoom or Google Meet without any problem. You can even share it with colleagues who missed a meeting, or use it to prepare a detailed report.
- Video guide. Whether you are a teacher or someone trying to help your friends, family or team members, you can record your Mac screen to make a step by step video tutorial and share it.
- Remote Desktop View: Even without any remote desktop apps for Mac, you’ll be able to see what’s happening on the screen of your colleagues or friends. They only need to record their screen and share it with you.
- Recording Live Streams: Would you like to watch live streams again? At least I know, and if you’re like me too, you can use a free or paid screen recorder app to record your screen and review it whenever you want.
- Game Highlights: When you play games on Mac, there can always be a time when you had a great game and wanted to show it off to others. With a good Mac screen recorder, this is possible. You can even use it to upload to popular social networks like Youtube, Instagram and more.
EaseUS RecExperts: Make Screen Recording on Mac Easier with Sound
As you can guess from the name, the app is designed to make it easy to record your Mac’s screen. So what makes it better than Quicktime Screen Recording with Audio on Mac? Well, here are some key features of the app to help you understand the difference.
- Screen Recording with Audio: There may be times when QuickTime Player fails to record internal audio on Mac during screen recording. EaseUS promises to get rid of this problem once and for all. You can use this app to record both screen and system sound and microphone sound.
- Capture Any Screen: With this tool, you can capture your Mac’s screen and more importantly capture only a specific part of the screen at up to HD 60FPS.
- Webcam recording. In addition to recording content on the screen, you can even film yourself with a webcam.
- Extracting audio from a recording. Among the many good features offered by EaseUS, this is one of my favorite features. You can extract audio from screen recordings and it’s easy!
- Automatic Recording: One feature you won’t get with the default screen recorder app or other third party apps is the ability to schedule screen recording. This feature is useful when you have daily meetings or classes without setting an alarm.
- Save recordings in multiple formats: After recording the screen on your Mac, you don’t need to rely on any video converter to convert it to other formats.

My experience with EaseUS RecExperts
Since the Mac had a screen recording option by default, I was a bit skeptical even considering the need for a third-party screen recording app. However, I’m happy to report that EaseUS has proven me wrong with its feature set.
From the ability to adjust video quality to providing features to automatically split a recording and make it easier to share, there’s a lot to explore in the app.
I especially liked the feature where you can schedule the screen recording to start on its own and end automatically. There is even an option to extract audio from a video or record from a webcam at the same time.
All of these features make it the perfect solution for those who want to create tutorials or take classes.
There is room to grow
However, there are some things that I think could make the app better – mostly the video editor. Other than adding titles/endings, you don’t have any other option to add text to the video, which might make you consider another video editing app for Mac.
The app may benefit from some UI tweaks to improve the user experience and make it more premium and user friendly, even with new features. Let me give you an example.
When using the “Region”feature to record the screen, I selected a specific area and wanted to resize it again. When I hovered over the endpoints to adjust the screen size, I didn’t see the resize icon. Later I realized that you need to click and drag to use this feature.
Should I consider EaseUS?
The short answer is yes! However, picky users may want to weigh the pros and cons before calling. So, to help you make the best decision, let’s compare the free and premium plans to help you understand if an app is really worth your investment.
Which EaseUS RecExperts plan should I choose?
Let me make it easy for you. You will only be able to record your Mac screen with sound for a minute; to record further, you need to have a premium plan. As we all know, it takes less than a minute to record a screen for very minimal cases. But if you are satisfied with a minute, feel free to use the free plan.
For the rest, you can consider a premium plan that starts at around $20/month. Thanks to this, you will be able to make long screen recordings, schedule them, and even record the screen at the same time from your webcam, external microphone, and even with built-in audio.
There is also a lifetime version for those looking for value and even a business plan to use on multiple devices at the same time. Basically, there is a plan for everyone!
