You need an Upgrade and a Dubious Disc to upgrade your Porygon in this game. Both of these items can be purchased at the Trading Post in Jublife Village. You need a total of 2400 Merit Points if you want to get the items needed for both of these Evolutions.

You must use the Upgrade item on your Porygon to turn it into Porygon 2. And to evolve it further into Porygon Z, you need to use the Questionable Disc item.

  • Upgrading costs 1000 Merit Points.
  • A questionable disk costs 1400 merit points.

Alternatively, there is a small chance that you can find them in the Spacetime Warp. But this is not a very reliable method, since the items here appear randomly.

So the best way to get them is to buy them. But the problem is that it will take quite a long time to get them. The only way to get merit points is to return the lost satchels. As you explore the Hisui region, you will randomly stumble upon the Lost Packs of NPCs. Pick them up by pressing A and they will be sent back to their owners and you will receive merit points in return.

How to get Porygon

If you don’t already have it, you can capture Porygon from the Spacetime Warps. While any distortion can work, try the ones that spawn in the Crimson Swamps. Once you see one fight or sneak up on him and catch him.

That’s all you need to do to get Porygon 2 and Porygon-Z in Pokemon Legends Arceus. To learn more about the evolution of other Pokémon, be sure to check out our guides on how to evolve Misdreavus, Petilil, and Magmar. And for more help on this game, don’t miss our Pokemon Legends Arceus guides.
