How to Solve the Poidsear Coast Treasure Vault Chess Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy
To solve the chess puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to use three spells: Transformation, Wingardium Leviosa, and Revelio. You can find the Poidsear Coast treasure vault east of the Phoenix Mountain cave. When you get to the place, you will notice two metal columns and you can open the way to the cave by using Depulso on them several times.
Once you enter the secret cave along the path, you will come across a half-played game of chess. Use Revelio here to find the missing chess piece you’ll need to checkmate the king. With Revelio you can find it, and with Transformation you can turn it back into the chess piece you want. After you use the Wingardium Leviosa and place the chess piece in the correct box, you will checkmate the king.
