In the Sims 4 update for babies, in order to get a Science Baby, you need to open your phone and select the Home icon. And in this menu, just select the option to make a science baby. - First, launch Sims 4 on your system and make sure you have installed the babies update.
- Then open your Sim’s phone, located at the bottom left of the screen.

- Then select the main menu and you will see two ways to have a baby with science.
- Have a Science Baby as a Single Parent: Selecting this option will not require the participation of other Sims. And you will be the only one marked as the Parent of the Child.
- Have a Science Child with…: Selecting this option will require the participation of a Sim (regardless of gender) who has a good friendship level with you. In this case, both Sims will be marked as the parents of the baby.
- After choosing the correct option, simply pay 12,000 Simoleons and click OK on the confirmation window.
- After that, your Sim will go to the hospital to complete the process of getting a baby through science.
- Next, you will get a pop-up window asking you to choose a name for the newborn. Just enter the name of your choice or roll the given dice to get a name suggestion.
- And after a while you will see a baby lying in a crib at your place.
