The crouch kill is one of the requirements for the M4 upgrade in COD Modern Warfare 2. This is a tricky move that requires the player to sneak behind an enemy and then take them down. In fast-paced games like Modern Warfare 2, you’re less likely to be overlooked. In this guide, I’m going to share a strategy on how to crouch to kill easily in MW2. There are some perks that will help you otherwise it will remain an impossible task.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Crouch Assassination Stunts – Crouch and Shoot Guide
To successfully kill with a crouch, you will need two things. Firstly, be very quiet so that the enemy does not notice you, and secondly, a perk that can hide you from drones and sensors. Enemies will have a hard time spotting you, and you will be able to complete Crouch Kill missions.
- Double Time: Double the duration of the tactical sprint. Increase your crouch speed by 30%.
- Ghost: Undetectable by UAVs, handheld radars and heart rate sensors.
- Tracker: Enemies leave footprints behind them, and enemy death markers are visible. Kill markers are hidden from the enemy team.
Dual Time and Ghost are two perks that should be in your gear. For more help, if you can unlock Tracker, things will be easier. Another perk that can replace Ghost is Cold Blood. This one will hide your presence from the AI targeting system and thermal imaging optics. Also, when this skill is in the bonus skills section, your appearance will not trigger a high alert alert. It will also hide you from tactical cameras, reconnaissance drones and spotters.
How to crouch to kill?
On PC, press C once to crouch. Double-tap to glide, and crouching is like sitting down and then shooting at an enemy. Now when you’re in a match, you’ll have to first find an enemy and then quietly walk nearby, press C once, and then shoot. This will complete your tasks, you can do this multiple times. The only addition here is pressing C in time to sit down. Crouching will also protect you from headshots. It takes a bit of practice here, weapons like submachine guns and assault rifles work well for crouch kills.
We hope this guide will help you complete all the crouch kill missions in COD MW2. For more guides like this, you can check out our COD MW2 section.
