At some point, you will notice that some of your cards are inactive. This happens when your GenMat (or genetic material) is depleted. To reactivate a card, you need to upgrade its Prestige to the next level.
How to become prestigious
To gain prestige in Meet Your Maker, select a map and enter build mode. Then press Escape and select the Prestige tab at the top. Now you can pay a certain amount to increase your Prestige level. However, the best way to do this is to create a card that guarantees kills. Make sure you strategically create paths, set traps, and guard AI that guarantee kills. Your prestige will increase with each free kill.
In addition to reactivating your cards, Prestige also increases your building options. This means you can now place more traps and enemies on the same outpost.
