Splatoon 3 offers a wide selection of over 54 weapons for different matches. This weapon can be used for several different types of matches and game modes. But while you will unlock these weapons as you level up, you also need to test them out. With this, you can test all weapons, even if they are not unlocked yet. How to check weapons in Splatoon 3
You can experience different types of weapons by going to Sheldon’s Ammo Knights, a gun shop.
- Heading there, choose any type of weapon. You will see the “Check”option in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Press the Y button to check the weapon.
- When asked to confirm, press the “Accept”button to be teleported to the testing ground.
- By teleporting there, you will be able to try out the selected weapon for a sufficient amount of time.
How to Train in a Proving Ground or Room
As soon as you teleport, you will find a couple of low-level enemies there. These enemies are called Squid Bumpers.
- You can test the selected equipment on these enemies.
- If you want to change the gear, you can press the + button.
- But since the ink can become very tangled in the test room or field, you can press the “–” button to open the menu.
- Then select the “Clean”option to clean the entire room.
- When you finish training on the training ground, you can press the Menu button and select the Quit option.
