How to defeat and kill the tormentors in Destiny 2
The Tormentors have a variety of attacks to destroy you in a matter of seconds. They can use their Void and Light Suppress abilities to hit you. What’s more, if they grab you, they can land one hit on you with their Dark Harvest ability while healing themselves. So, the first step to defeating the Torturers is to keep your distance. They are huge and bulky, but they are very fast and can quickly close the distance between you and them.
To kill the Torturers in Destiny 2, you need to hit the glowing yellow parts of their body. These yellow spots are their weaknesses and you can attack them to deal a lot of damage to them. At the beginning of the fight, the Tormentor’s shoulders are his weak point. Once you deplete their health to a certain level, the weak point will move from the shoulders to the chest.
One of the best combos against them is to freeze them with Stasis or Riptide with Cold Clip and hit them with a rocket launcher. But make sure you don’t sit idle in one place. Stasis will only freeze the Torturer for a few seconds, so use a hit and run strategy. Once their health is low, attack them with your Ultimate to finish them off.
