How to listen to Spotify playlists in Apple Music

Apple Music is one of the most interesting music streaming services, but it’s still inferior to Spotify. See how you can play Spotify playlists in Apple Music.

Apple Music has its pros, but many users find Spotify playlists to be much more convenient. Often you have to use Spotify to listen to Spotify playlists, which is not always possible if you already have a paid subscription to another streaming service. Luckily, today there is a way to enjoy Spotify playlists directly in Apple Music.

Today, there are different ways to transfer Spotify playlists to Apple Music and vice versa. These methods work but have their drawbacks as they often add several thousand songs to your library and also make your recently added list much longer. In this case, Playlisty, a free application for iPhone, iPad and Mac, will help you.

How to Import Spotify Playlists to Apple Music Easily

To use the Playlist, first sign up for a free Spotify plan. Install a playlist and link the Playlist app to your Spotify account. You will then be able to view all your playlists in the Playlist and choose to import them all or one by one to Apple Music.

Select your playlists you want to add, and the app will create a playlist for Apple Music and inform you about the availability of these songs on the Apple brand platform. Some of the songs may be missing, but such cases are extremely rare.

To import the entire playlist to Apple Music, click the “Play”button. After that you can listen to it. To save the entire playlist to Apple Music, click the “Save”button under the playlist name in the Playlist app, and then click “Start”to start importing.

Note: The free Playlist plan allows you to import up to 20 songs per playlist. If you need to import larger playlists, you need to purchase Playlist Pro for $3.49. If you’re not ready to purchase Playlisty Pro yet, you’ll need to open the app again to import playlists for free. This way you will add songs to your Now Playing list in Apple Music without saving them to your library, but they will be available for listening.

Bonus: Playlisty can also transfer playlists from YouTube Music to your Apple Music account.
