The developers have just rolled out a new version that allows users to continue listening to their voicemail messages after changing conversations. Just like you can watch a YouTube video on WhatsApp and it keeps playing when you leave a conversation to move on to another one.

This feature has already been seen in beta, so it looks like it’s now ready to be offered to everyone. This update is part of a set of changes initiated by WhatsApp in relation to voice messages. Among them, in particular, one could name the possibility of pausing reading where previously it was necessary to start all over again if reading was accidentally stopped.
Other changes include the ability to replay a voice message before sending it. Ideal for not sending unfinished messages or if you didn’t express yourself well, for example.
