In the past, restoring deleted apps from your iPhone or iPad meant relying on a backup or just buying it again. But these ways are now history. Compared to the previous days, restoring accidentally deleted apps on your iPhone or iPad is quite easy.
With iCloud, managing your apps is easy and simple. What’s more, it costs nothing to re-download the app if you’ve already purchased it.
How to Recover Deleted Apps on iPhone and iPad
If you’ve set up Family Sharing on your iPhone, you may see the My Purchases option on the All Purchases screen. If not, the method to recover deleted apps remains the same in iOS 16/15 and earlier versions of iOS.
- Launch the App Store on your iOS device.
- Now click on the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Then click Purchased.
- Tap My Purchases.
- Now tap the Not on this iPhone menu at the top.
- Find the app you uninstalled and want to reinstall. Then click on the cloud icon next to the app and the installation will begin.
In addition, you can also find the purchased app in the App Store.
When you download an app (for which you have already paid), you will no longer be charged.
