Here’s what you can do to get out of jail in Monopoly:
Get out of prison for free (map)
Using this card, any player can get out of prison without paying a single Monopoly dollar. The free Get Out of Jail map is available on the Chance and Community Chest platforms. If you have this card, keep it down and use it only when needed. Moreover, if you do not have this Card, you can purchase it from any other player who has it.
Throw a double
Another way to get out of prison in Monopoly is to ride for two. This means that the numbers on both dice must be the same. If you manage to roll a double number, then you can move your token depending on the numbers that fell on the dice in the same turn. You can try to roll a double within 3 turns. However, if you are unable to do so, you will have to pay 50 Monopoly dollars to the banker to get out of prison after the 3rd turn.
Also, if you want to move fast, you can pay $50 before you roll the dice to get out of the prison in Monopoly.
Note. Keep in mind that you only go to jail if it’s a playable team. Whereas, if you roll the dice and accidentally land on the prison, then you are safe. This will count as “Just a visit”and will not have any consequences. Therefore, you can move from there without doing any tasks or transactions on your next turn. In addition, someone who is in prison should not receive a salary of $200.
