In CoD MW2 and Warzone 2, you can complete the Legion Muddy Waters mission to get 10,000 XP. This mission also rewards you with blueprints for the Maniples X12 pistol. But this mission may take you several tries before you can complete it. So here is a simple guide on how to complete the Muddy Waters DMZ mission in Call of Duty Warzone 2 and MW2.
How to get Muddy Waters in MW2 and Warzone 2
You need to collect three pieces of information on Ashika Island in order to complete the Muddy Waters challenge. Things you need to collect and extract:
- Shadow Company USB Drive from Ashika Island Beach Club
- Information about Asika Island from the Underground Waterway
- Corona information from Asika Power Plant.
Although the game gives you these locations, the task is not very easy. All of this requires you to fetch information, so it’s best to do this in 3 different matches rather than one. This is because the second and third parts of this mission are particularly difficult. Not to mention, other players try to complete them too, so often you won’t get them even when you reach the right place. So here’s how you can get them all:
Shadow Company USB flash drive
Let’s start with the easiest task in this mission. Go to the southernmost part of the map where you can see a circle (marked above in the image). This is a beach club. Get to the observatory on any jet ski or boat you can find. Once you get there, dive below. Here you can see different windows. Hack one using a melee attack or find an open window. Get inside and you’ll find three crates that you can loot. One of them has a Shadow Company flash drive.
Collect it and extract it to complete this challenge. Make sure you surface in time so you don’t die from lack of oxygen when looking for that stick. If you can’t find the USB, someone may have already taken it. So it’s best to exit the match and try again.
Information about Asika Island
To get information about Ashika Island, you need to go under Tsuki Castle. There are several elite guards in this area and even a guard who patrols with a minigun. It’s good that you can get here from any direction. I recommend using a stealth approach and approach Tsuki Castle from the west. Then go down and you should reach a place where you can find a submarine. Eliminate the enemies here and you will find information about Ashika Island in one of the Grey’s shipping containers.
Extract again to complete this challenge, so there will only be one left for the mission.
Crown Recon – Complete the Muddy Waters DMZ mission in MW2 and Warzone 2
For this last task, you will need the key to the fortress. You can collect the key to the fortress by destroying enemies and getting it from them as a drop. Or you can even buy one. And if you find it while doing other missions, take it out because you can carry it around with you.
- Go to the location northwest of Tsuki Castle, check the image above for reference.
- This is a power plant.
- Go there and go to the upper room. You can enter here by breaking the glass window.
- Look for Crown Intel behind the counter.
While I have explained the above in order of completing the tasks in the game, you can complete them in any order you like.
