In Demonologist, players will encounter different types of entities that challenge their survival. There are currently up to 24 exorcism ghosts in the game and 3 maps to explore. However, while you’re exploring alone or with your team, make sure you don’t die right at the start of the hunt. If this is already happening to you, then it’s okay, you are not the only one. Many players struggle with the same and have not even exorcised a single demon. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some quick tips and tricks to survive Demonologist for the long haul.
How can I survive long in Demonologist (survival tips and tricks)
Here are all the tips and tricks you can go through and try to survive for a long period in the Demonologist. Before you get started, let’s walk you through your main goal in the game. Here, your main goal will be to collect evidence of the existence of ghostly creatures by completing at least 3 tasks. After that, you can either leave or stay and perform an exorcism. With that said, let’s start with survival tips.
Maintain a level of sanity
Before you leave the gear tent, take a look at the screen that keeps track of your sanity level. This is because in this game, maintaining your sanity level is very important for survival. If you do not do this, then your character will simply be attacked by a ghost or have a mental breakdown. To avoid such situations, carry pills, candles or a flashlight with you. To make your characters feel safe and comfortable until the end of the hunt.
The crucifix is your friend
If you somehow lose your sanity level and the ghost starts hunting, then the Crucifixion is the only thing that can save you. This item can be purchased from the shop with in-game money. If wearing a Crucifix doesn’t work as expected, try using holy water.
Explore the caches
Players who do not have the in-game money to purchase the Crucifix and are being hunted can simply hide from the ghost. For those who don’t know, there are various hideouts on the map that can be used to survive the long haul of demonologists. However, your task is to find the nearest ones and hide as soon as the hunt begins.
Know the cards
As mentioned earlier, there are up to 3 active maps in the game at the moment, with another coming soon. However, not all of them are unlocked automatically, and leveling up is required to unlock. Among them, the most difficult map to survive is the Hospital. This is because it is one of the largest and darkest of all and has three floors to explore. Here is a list of cards that you will see in the game.
- Abandoned House: Unlocked at level 1.
- Cyclone Street: Unlocked at level 3.
- Hospital: unlocked at level 10.
- Kuresawa House: Coming Soon
Determine the types of ghosts
As mentioned earlier, here your main goal is to determine the type of ghost and collect clues by completing at least 3 tasks. Since there are 24 ghostly creatures in the game, identifying them can be a difficult task early in the game. But don’t worry, EMF, ESG and Ecto Glass will surely help you in your demon hunting. So don’t forget to buy and take them from your tent.
Complete your investigation as soon as possible
Last but not least, completing the investigation as soon as possible can always help you survive the Demonologist. This can be done by completing at least 3 objectives and marking the clues in your journal by pressing J. Once you do this, the game will offer you two options: leave and collect the rewards. Or stay and complete the rest of the tasks to exorcise the ghost.
These were all the tips and tricks that will help you survive in the Demonologist for a long time.
