The NFT marketplace is being developed by Japanese publisher Konami.
Japanese publisher Konami is pursuing its ambitions and projects in the field of web 3.0:
We are in the process of hiring a wide range of professionals to build systems and develop services to deliver new capabilities related to Web 3.0 and the Metaverse. We have done research and development to bring the latest technology to our games and content, and we plan to launch a service where players can redeem their in-game NFTs (digital items) through a single blockchain-powered distribution platform.

Promising start for Konami with NFT
Last January, Konami celebrated Castlevania’s anniversary by releasing a collection of franchise-related NFTs featuring the Belmont family and the evil overlord Dracula. Most of the collection consisted of NFTs from the first three Castlevania games, but there were also some never-before-seen or rare pieces of art for fans to purchase. After this first dive into the world of NFT, it seems that Konami is moving forward with much larger projects based on this technology, with the blockchain.
