OnePlus hints at the OnePlus 11 concept with an array of blue LED streaks on the back cover.
The OnePlus 11 is a powerful smartphone, but its design isn’t very… exciting. Today, the manufacturer hinted at a version called OnePlus 11 Concept, which just contradicts all this, in particular, with more LEDs. In particular, the back of the device is lined with LEDs that paint very nice blue patterns, with a ring of light around the camera module, all behind a solid glass body. The device will be formalized on February 27 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona.
OnePlus hints at the OnePlus 11 concept
With this design, OnePlus is taking a more familiar PC approach with all those LEDs. Which makes sense considering the OnePlus 11 is one of the most powerful gaming smartphones on the market, with features like a 120Hz display, 100W fast charging, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
OnePlus already offers many special editions of its smartphones, including Star Wars and Pac-Man themed products. However, this seems to be the first external LED lamp that takes full advantage of the design similar to the transparent back of Nothing Phone 1. This model also borrows a bit from the OnePlus 8T concept, which has a color-changing back cover.

And if you need a reason to justify these lighting effects, the company explains that it helps “demonstrate the engineering feats of the OnePlus 11 concept by highlighting the blue pipes that run across the back of the phone, as if the OnePlus 11 concept had its own network of blood vessels.”.
It’s hard to know if this device is stamped “Concept”because it’s just a simple try or you need to see the sign of a special version that will sell effectively. If this was the second decision, it would certainly allow the brand to stand out. In any case, we’ll know more when it’s officially unveiled on February 27th at 9pm French time.
