Copenhagen Cowboy for Netflix is director Nicolas Winding Refn’s first production in his native Denmark in 15 years.
Copenhagen Cowboy focuses on the young heroine Miu. After a life of slavery and on the cusp of a new beginning, she traverses the unsettling underworld landscape of the eponymous city. Seeking justice and revenge, she meets her nemesis Raquel as they embark on an odyssey through the natural and the supernatural. The past ultimately transforms and defines their future as the two women discover that they are not alone, that there are many of them.

Copenhagen Cowboy is coming to Netflix by the end of the year. Angela Bundalovic, Lola Korfisen, Zlatko Buric, Andreas Lykke Jorgensen, Jason Hendil-Forssel, Li Yi Zhang, Dragana Milutinovic, Mikael Bertelsen and Mads Brugger will play in the six-episode television series.
