The action of the television series “The Ark”takes place 100 years later on board the “Ark One”- a star cruiser that carries humanity’s last hope for survival. However, when the ship suffers heavy losses, the remaining passengers must regroup and complete a mission to find a new planetary home, with its destination more than a year away.

Dean Devlin, known for writing and producing Stargate and Independence Day along with director Roland Emmerich, co-showrunner and executive producer of The Ark with Jonathan Glassner. Mark Roskin and Rachel Olshan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment are also executive producers, while Balkanic Media’s Jonathan English and Steve Lee are the two lead producers.
