In 2005, the name of the company was changed to Roblox, and thus it has survived to this day. Although the game was officially launched on September 1, 2006, it was not until March 2007 that it was recognized as COPPA compliant.

Roblox’s rise to popularity began when they created their first Hack Week in 2011. In addition to the fact that they have allowed creators to create their own games and let others play them, the Roblox milestone is nothing short of an amazing business.

Since then, Roblox has also been launched on iOS and Android. In 2013, Roblox launched a developer exchange program. This allowed developers to exchange Robux earned in their games for real currencies.

David Baszuki, who created Roblox, currently owns approximately 13% of the company. The cost of the package can be roughly estimated at about $4.2 billion.
