Like all previous seasons, MLB the Show 23 will be released this spring after a long slumber. With the release date announced, the entire community is wondering about the cover athlete. Aside from the release date, this season’s cover of the athlete was the first major announcement for the game. We also collected covers of athletes from all previous seasons. So here’s our list revealing the cover athlete in MLB the Show 23 and all previous athlete lists.
Who is MLB, Show 23 cover athlete?
Electric Jazz Chisholm Jr. is the cover athlete for this year’s MLB The Show 2023. Jasrado Prince Hermis Arrington Chisholm, Jr., or simply Jazz, is a professional Bahamian center fielder and second baseman. He plays for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Miami Marlins and the UK national baseball team. Making history, the Jazz became the first Marlins player to be a cover athlete.
But making history is not unusual for Jazz, as he is also the first player to make an All-Star Game roster. Even though he did not play the game due to injuries, it was a highlight in his career. Known for his electric nature and gameplay, this Bahamian prince has the most consistent playing time in the Marlins.
