Yesterday at its annual Tech World 2021 event, Lenovo unveiled a range of new premium laptops that will be ready for Windows 11, as well as some other devices. These include a new device from the Lenovo Yoga series, including a new version of the popular and legendary Carbon line. He also showcased new P-series tablets and a new pair of wireless headphones that are very different from his earlier offerings. Lenovo Tech World is the company’s annual launch event when it announces some of its biggest products of the year.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon
Starting at the top, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon features a 14-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It can reach up to 400 nits of brightness and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut as well as Dolby Vision HDR playback. It also has 16GB dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe M.22 SSD storage.
The Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is powered by a 61Wh battery that the company says will provide up to 14 hours of battery life. You’ll get AMD Ryzen 7 5800U-series mobile processors on the device, though graphics chips come from both AMD and Nvidia. You can choose between an AMD Radeon Graphics GPU and an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU.
The 14-inch variant of the device is now $1,289.99 in the US and doesn’t have a launch date or price yet.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro
On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro will have AMD Ryzen 5800H mobile processors and Nvidia’s RTX 3050 discrete graphics chips. The device will also have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe M.22 SSD storage. It will also be ready for Windows 11, which is scheduled to roll out to devices on October 5 this year.
Lenovo says the 75Wh battery on this device will last 12.5 hours on each charge, and like the Carbon, the Slim 7 Pro also supports Dolby Atmos Speaker.
The Slim 7 Pro weighs 2.1kg and features a 16-inch QHD display with 500 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB support. The refresh rate of this device is higher – 120 Hz, and in the US the device will cost from $ 1,449 (about 1,10,000 rupees).
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook
In addition, Lenovo also announced the IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook, which weighs 700 grams and is 7.24mm thick. It features a 13.3-inch FHD OLED display and is up to 400 nits of brightness with support for 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 computer platform and has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC SSD2 storage.
The Snapdragon chip is also powered by a smaller battery, which may be why the Duet 5 has a 42Wh battery. It costs $429.99 in the US.
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro and Tab P11 5G
In addition to laptops and Chromebooks, the company announced two new tablets at Lenovo Tech World. The first is the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro with a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The second is the Lenovo Tab P11 5G with an 11-inch 2K IPS display.
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Tab P11 5G has the Snapdragon 750 5G chip. Both devices have 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, with Android 11 running out of the box. Their price is 899 and 499 euros respectively.
Lenovo Smart Wireless Headphones
You may not know this, but this isn’t the first time Lenovo has released true wireless earbuds. The new Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds feature an 11mm dynamic driver and three microphones per earbud with Active Noise Canceling (ANC) technology. They will support touch controls and have IPX4 certification for sweat and water resistance.
