Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition launched in China: specs, price

Lenovo has unveiled another updated Yoga series laptop. At an event in China, the company unveiled the all-new Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition. This is one of the first laptops from Lenovo to run Windows 11 out of the box. However, other hardware specs are quite impressive as well, and this is one of the latest laptops from Lenovo to feature the latest generation AMD Ryzen processor.

The Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition is a thin and light laptop with a 13.3-inch WQXGA (2560 × 1600 pixels) IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display has a 100% sRGB color gamut and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The display also features DC dimming and Dolby Vision. The laptop is made in a premium metal case and weighs only 1.2 kilograms.

The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 56000U processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM. In terms of storage options, there’s only a 512GB NVMe SSD. As mentioned earlier, the laptop runs Windows 11 out of the box and also supports Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop comes with two stereo speakers with Dolby Atomos. There is also a backlit keyboard.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop ships with a standard 720p webcam and a 50Wh battery with 65W charging support. Like other Yoga laptops, this one can also work as an Amazon Echo Show.

Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition Price

The laptop has just been launched in China, priced at RMB 5,199, which is roughly Rs 60,000, and will go on sale in China from October 5th. For a limited time, it will be priced at 4,799 yuan, or approximately Rs. 55,100. Customers in China can already pre-order the laptop from Lenovo’s China website. However, Lenovo hasn’t announced a global launch or whether the laptop will be available in other markets, including India. However, looking at the continued popularity of the Lenovo Yoga series, it’s safe to assume that Lenovo may introduce the laptop to other markets some time later. Last year’sThe ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga laptops unveiled at CES have gained some popularity, and it doesn’t look like Lenovo will stop releasing new and improved series of Yoga laptops anytime soon.

Along with this, four other laptops were unveiled at the Lenovo event, including the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 Core Edition, which features an 11th Gen Core i5 processor and is Intel Evo certified, according to reports . The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display with a frequency of 90 Hz. However, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 Core Edition could be a China-exclusive laptop and this laptop will also have Ryzen variants.
