LG unveils its new evo 2022 OLED TVs. Improvements across the board.
One of the most exciting things about CES is that we’re seeing a lot of new display technologies and improvements over what’s already there. Since screens are used in our daily lives, whether they are computers, monitors, smartphones, tablets or TVs, it’s always interesting to see what manufacturers come up with. Today, LG is introducing its new evo 2022 OLED TVs.
LG Unveils New evo 2022 OLED TVs
That’s why LG has just unveiled its new OLED evo TV models, which will be part of the G2 and C2 ranges. The G2 line will be available in various sizes, currently 55, 65, 77, 83 and 97 inches. The C2 series, meanwhile, will be offered in 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches. While the G2 will continue to use the same chassis as their predecessors, LG is using a new composite fiber for the C2 line, making it 50% lighter than previous generations.
The G2 and C2 TVs will also be eligible for improved audio technology. So instead of being “only compatible”with 5.1.2 systems like previous models, they will be compatible with 7.1.2. And they will also have multiple HDMI 2.1 ports.
Improvements across the board
In terms of software, LG will use the Alpha 9 Gen 5 4K processor. According to the brand, this new software will use deep learning to improve zoom performance, making the images you see on screen more three-dimensional to better separate elements in the foreground from elements in the background.
This new processor will also improve audio with AI Sound Pro, which should help deliver more “realistic”sound. The company has so far not mentioned pricing for its new OLED evo 2022 TVs, but it’s safe to say the bill is going to be huge.
