Best rune farming spots in Elden Ring (all locations)

We have divided this guide mainly into three sections. Here they are:

  • Best early game farming spots
  • Best places to farm in the mid game
  • Best late game farming spots

Best Elden Ring farm spots for early game

Starting with the first one, these are farming spots that are easy to beat. Players from level 1 to 35 can go to these locations to farm runes.

So, here are the best places to farm runes in the early game:

Ruins at the gate

  • Enemies around this place are fairly easy to defeat.
  • You can find Lone Wolves, Godric’s Soldier, Godric’s Knight, and a few Rogue Nobles in the Gate Ruins.
  • If you’re having trouble defeating them, we suggest using your Spirit Call or Ashes.
    • Total Runes: Farm 1224 runes per playthrough (if you defeated Soldier Godric).

Tower Bridge Limgrave, a place of grace

  • Farm three golems after you defeat Margit, the Fallen Omen.
    • Total Runes: Farm 3117 runes per run.

Best places to farm in the mid game

This farming spot is best suited for level 36 to 75 players.

Rise of Lenne

Here’s a place to farm runes where you don’t have to fight enemies or bosses for runes. All you have to do is ride the Horse Stream and escape the wrecking ball.

Follow these steps:

  • Go down the slope where the ball will fly in to crash you.
  • Instead of going straight, turn right and wait for the ball to fall down the slope.
  • Moving further, you will see exactly the same flying ball next to the tree.
  • You can take a tree as cover and wait until the ball comes down the slope.
    • Total Runes: Farm 3904 runes per playthrough.

Given that you don’t need to fight any hardcore enemies to farm in this location, it’s pretty easy to farm a lot of runes here.

Best late game farming spots

The following are rune farming locations that are best for players above level 76:

Dragon Mound Fork, Place of Grace

  • From Grace’s Landing, head up the slope and fight 16 Poisoned Guardians.
  • These guardian enemies have the Poison status effect and have a health bar of 983 HP.
  • So defeating these poisoned guardians will not be an easy task.
    • Total Runes: Farm 18,122 runes per playthrough.

Prayer room, place of grace

  • From Grace, go to the north entrance and defeat a few knights around the Wall.
  • Go down into the Room to find two stronger and more difficult knights to defeat.
  • You can quickly head to the Prayer Room, the place of Grace, to farm more Runes.
    • Total Runes: Collect over 30,000 runes in a playthrough.
