Elden Ring has different types of spells that you can use against your enemies. Gravity spells are a type of sorcery that can be used to throw rocks and summon meteorites. As the name suggests, these spells use the power of gravity to do this. Often known as the Dragon Slayer in the Elden community, you can complete the game with Gravity Build using these spells. But because these spells don’t have scrolls or vendors that sell them, some players can’t find them. Don’t worry, check out our guide to the best gravity spells in Elden Ring.

There are five gravity spells that can be used in Elden Ring. They are the following:
- collapsing stars
- gravity well
- Meteorite
- Astel meteorite
- Rock Sling
Like every Sorcery spell, you must equip the Staff of Glynstone in order to cast Gravity spells. To enhance and improve their strength, you can also use a meteor staff.
Now let’s take a closer look at the location and requirements for the aforementioned Gravity spells:
collapsing stars
This is a Gravity Spell that unleashes a series of burst projectiles on your enemies. When you use this Affliction spell, it gravitationally pulls enemies towards you, dealing increased damage. The collapsing spell can be used for crowd control and when facing hordes of enemies.
- Location: Can be found in a chest located in the lower level of the War Dead Catacombs filled with Scarlet Rot. You can check out our guide on how to get Collapsing Stars to find out its exact location.
- Requirements

- Stamina Cost: 27
gravity well
When you cast this gravity spell, it fires a condensed ball of gravity force. You can charge the Gravity Well spell to increase its power and give your enemies time to get pulled in. We suggest casting this Sorcery when you have high ground. This way you won’t have to deal damage to enemies.

Meteorite
The Meteor Attraction spell summons three attacking meteors from the sky at enemies. When you cast this spell, it opens up a small void that hurls meteorites at your enemies. You can use the Meteor spell to defeat larger bosses like the Dragons in Elden Ring. But due to the slow cast and projectile speed, you can use it mainly in ranged fights.
- Location: Dropped by the Onyx Lord in the Royal Grave of Evergaol after being defeated.
- Requirements
- Intelligence: 30 Level
- FP Cost: 30
- Stamina cost: 35
Astel meteorite
This is an upgraded and enhanced version of the Meteorite spell. You can use Astel’s Meteor spell to summon a hail of meteorites from the void. This gravity spell is an Overpowered spell that can be used to defeat difficult bosses and dragon bosses in Elden Ring. It deals not only with magical damage, but also with physical damage. To use it indefinitely, you can use Cerulean’s Hidden Tear until your FP is completely used up. You can cast a combo if you have higher FP.
- Location: Dropped by Astel, the boss of Stars of Darkness in Yelough Anix Tunnel, which is west of Consecrated Snowfield.
- Requirements
- Intelligence: 55 Level
- FP cost: 60 (12)
- Stamina cost: 40
- Note that this arcane spell uses two slots.
Rock Sling
Finally, Stone Buckle is the simplest of all Gravity Magic spells. You can cast this spell to summon three stones underground and send them flying. You can use the Stone Sling spell to destroy NPC invaders in the Intervening Lands.
- Location: Inside a chest in the underground basement north of the Street of the Wise Ruins. In this location, you can find some Servant of Rot enemies.
