The Epic Games Store might be planning something really cool for this holiday season, and it’s kicking off with a new game, Mystery. The Mystery Game is Shenmue 3, one of the most charming games of 2019 that continues the legacy of the Shenmue franchise as a solid, story-driven action-adventure game with tons of mini-games.
Shenmue 3 is a great offering from the Epic Games Store and definitely one of their very best offerings. The original Shenmue didn’t have the best launch in 1999, but the game has since gained cult status in the gaming community. Shenmue 3 managed to capture the essence of the original, but made some big improvements in some aspects, such as balancing gameplay with story and much better writing.

Rumor has it that over the next few weeks, the Epic Games Store will be giving away 15 games for free. As reported, 15 games will be played in the store from December 16 to December 30. Many of these games can be made available within a single day, much like how GOG gave away a few games over the past week.
Judging by Shenmue 3, fans can expect big hits and some great indie games. Epic really rose to prominence in 2020 when they gave away Gran Theft Auto V for free. The total number of users it has been able to bring to the platform is 7 million, and while this is an unrealistic number to expect from the current giveaway, it is still sure to attract many users.
It will be interesting to see what games Epic has for giveaways. However, it’s probably best not to expect games on the scale and scope of Grand Theft Auto V.
