Star Wars is a license that now has millions of fans around the world. And which respond to every new film or new series. Many of them on Disney+ discovered The Mandalorian, many also for Season 2. And they are of course still waiting for Season 3. It will appear in a few months.
The Mandalorian season 3 finds a date
Fans of The Mandalorian can now mark their calendars and add an important reminder of March 1, 2023. Indeed, this is the date that The Mandalorian season 3 will begin streaming on the Disney+ platform. This is reported by the official Twitter account of the series. Disney was originally supposed to kick off the festivities in the month of February, but as Ars Technica notes, the giant had to delay by a few days.
See you on March 1st in the new adventures of Grog and Luke Skywalker
The giant released the first official trailer for the series this year during the D23 Expo last September, showing how Grog – aka Baby Yoda online – and Mando – or Din Djarin – are reunited. If you remember, Grogu left with Luke Skywalker at the end of Season 2 to complete his Force magic training at the latter’s Jedi Temple. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of how Mando deals with the aftermath of removing his helmet and showing up bare-faced, something very, very frowned upon by members of his religious sect.
By the time Season 3 comes out, it will be over two years since Season 2. That said, Mando and Grog were featured in The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off of The Mandalorian that aired last year. Grog also had the honor of revisiting Hayao Miyazaki for the Lucasfilm-Studio Ghibli animated short Zen to Grog and the Dust Bunnies which was available for a few weeks.
