How to get upgrade materials in Dredge
In Dredge, you can get upgrade materials with the Dredging upgrade. For those who do not know, dredging allows you to extract resources from under the sea. However, it is not unlocked by default. Don’t worry, this update will eventually be unlocked at the beginning of the period. In addition, here are all the upgrade materials you will need to level up your boat:
- lumber
- Scrap metal
- Roll of cloth
- Refined metal
- Sheet metal

Once you unlock the dredging feature, look out for bubbles in the sea. These bubble spots are where you can dredging. Thanks to this, you can extract several items from the sea, such as research parts and upgrade materials such as lumber (wood), metal scraps, and a roll of cloth. However, you cannot obtain sheet metal and refined metal through dredging. Both of these upgrade materials can be obtained by purchasing them from the Traveling Traders in Dredge.
To make things easier, you can use a telescope to see what is floating in the water. Apparently, it will display the shadow of an object inside the water, which will help you determine what is inside.
