Elden Ring includes various locations in the vast open world of Lands Between. If you want to get to the Altus Plateau, you can take the Grand Dectus Elevator. This is one of the ways to get to the Altus Plateau. But since both locations are late game areas, finding and accessing them can be a bit of a hassle. Although it is much easier to get to Altus after activating the lift, most players cannot find this place. How to get to the Grand Lift of Dectus at Elden Ring (location)
The Grand Dectus Elevator is located at the end of the Bellum Highway in the far north of Liurnia Ozerna. You can find this place in the east of Liurnia. Heading there, continue north on the Bellum Highway. You will find the Grand Elevator Dectus between Liurnia Lakes and the Altus Plateau. You can refer to the image above for the exact location.
If you are visiting the Elevator for the first time, you will need to activate and unlock it. You can unlock the Dectus Grand Elevator with the Dectus Medallion, which comes in two halves. These halves are the Left Dectus Medallion and the Right Dectus Medallion. You can activate the Grand Lift of Dectus when you have both halves of the Dectus Medallion. You have to head to the platform to pick up the Medallion and raise the Elevator. After lifting the elevator, you will be taken to the secret plateau of Altus.
The Dectus Medallion can be found right in Fort Faroth, located in Dragonmound northeast of Caelid. With the Dectus Medallion left, you need to head to Fort Haight southwest of Limgrave.
