Just switch from Facebook to Instagram and vice versa. Functionality in simple test at the moment, which thankfully still respects your current security procedures.
Meta is currently testing two new features that should bring Facebook and Instagram even closer. This Monday, the company began rolling out a new experience across Android, iOS, and the web for switching between accounts.
Just switch from Facebook to Instagram and vice versa.
If you have added your Facebook and Instagram credentials to the same Account Center, you can use this feature to switch between apps without returning to your smartphone’s home screen, multitasking menu, or app drawer. The interface also allows you to see a counter of all your notifications in one place.
Function in a simple test, for now
At the same time, Meta introduces a new way to login and register on Android and iOS. If you don’t already have an account on the networks of the American giant, you can create an account and use it to create others. For those who already have Facebook and Instagram accounts, it is now possible to use the login information associated with one app to access another, but first you must add them to the same Account Center.
who fortunately always follows your security procedures
Meta will notify you every time you use an existing account to create a new one, or when you add an account to the Account Center. In addition, security features such as two-factor authentication remain in place, which will prevent, for example, someone from using your Instagram credentials to access your Facebook account.
While these new features are “currently limited to Facebook and Instagram,”Meta says it will “continue to explore ways to improve interactions with all of [its] technologies.”The latter came shortly after the launch of Meta Accounts last August and the recent drop in revenue and growth in the user base.
