After a long wait, the Wild Update has finally arrived in Minecraft and players can try out all the new content including 2 new biomes – deep darkness and mangrove swamps. The Wild Update is now available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Windows.

Java Edition is also getting a new update for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Additionally, Windows players can now play both the Java version and the Bedrock version as both versions are already available for PC. Bedrock Edition also gets 2 free character creation items in addition to all new content.

The Minecraft The Wild update will be automatically downloaded to whatever platform the player is on, but they can do it manually by going to their platform’s digital store.

What’s New in Minecraft – The Wild Update?

The two new biomes will feature all sorts of new mobs, including The Warden, The Allay, Frogs, and Tadpoles. It also adds new blocks to the game such as skull, mangrove, wood, and most importantly, dirt.

Deep Darkness is a terrifying new biome that is inhabited by only one of the mobs – the warden. Only the warden spawns in deep darkness, but they only spawn after the players activate the screamer. Deep Darkness is a chilling new biome that can be a real adventure for those who want their Minecraft experience to be a little more challenging.

Minecraft has been finding ways to stay ahead of the curve over the years, and the result is one of the most enduring games of the past few decades. The game is constantly being improved to introduce all kinds of new content to keep players interested, and The Wild update is a testament to this fact.
