Being a multiplayer game, Minecraft allows you to add multiple friends and other players to your journey. With these players, you can create and build both vast and beautiful worlds. But the only problem comes when your friend list is filled with random players. While some players may be toxic, some players may be permanently offline. How to delete friends in Minecraft (PC, Pocket and Bedrock Edition)
Follow these steps:
- On the Minecraft title screen, click on the “Play”button and select the “Friends”tab.
- There you will find all your friends to join listed.
- If you want to unfriend a player who is not on the list, you can select the “Add Friend”option.
- Then enter their gamertag in the text box. We suggest entering their exact Minecraft gamertag.
- When you click on search, you will see a preview of their profile.
- Expand the Friend option and scroll down to find the Unfriend option.
- You can select the “Remove from friends”option to remove them from the list.
But removing or unfriending these players may not be a permanent solution. This is because they can add you during the game. Scroll down to the end to learn how to block other players.
How to block other players?
Follow these steps:
- On the “Friends”tab, select from the list of friends you can join.
- Alternatively, you can also enter their gamertag to get a preview of their profile.
- Scroll down to find the “Block”option and turn it on to block the player.
- For friends who are too annoying but can’t be unfriended or blocked, you can select the Mute option for them.
- You’ll find the “Mute”option above the “Block”option.
- For players who insult or harass you, we suggest that you select the “Report”option in your profile preview.
