MLB The Show 23 Face Scan – How to Use the Companion App
You can scan your face with MLB, Show 23’s companion app on your mobile phones. You can download and install this app on your Android or iOS devices to scan faces yourself.
After installing the Companion app, follow these steps to use Face Scan:
- Select MLB in Show 23 game name and log into your gaming platform.
- Tap the Face Scan option at the bottom right corner of the banner.
- Read the Terms and Conditions and accept them.
- Then scroll down to find the additional download link to get the “Face Scan”option. You can long press the download link to get the Face Scan add-on.
- Click on the “Open Camera”option to click a selfie or self-portrait photo.
- Finally, upload a photo and click the confirmation button to upload the face scan.
We recommend taking the photo in HD quality and with flash settings for better face scanning. Since this photo will create your Ballpark player, you can use it in different game modes. However, some players are having trouble using MLB, the Show 23 face scan, or the Companion app on their mobile devices.
Companion app or face scan not working, fix
At the moment, the only workaround to fix the face scan not working is to update the MLB Show Companion app to the latest version. You can also check your Internet or Wi-Fi connection which may be causing these technical issues.
So far, neither MLB nor San Diego Studios have acknowledged this issue. But we will be sure to add more workarounds and fixes as more information becomes available.
