Dark Souls 2 PC multiplayer servers are back after a nine-month hiatus

Dark Souls 2 online services are back after a nine-month hiatus, at least for the DirectX 11 version.

Dark Souls 2 players can once again get together and have fun on PC, now that FromSoftware has reactivated the servers. Studio and publisher Bandai Namco disabled online components for all Dark Souls games on PC last January to give themselves time to fix a security bug that allowed hackers to invite themselves onto players’ computers.
