Apple iPhone 14 Pro models have much better specs than regular models

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 14 series later this year. If all goes according to plan, we can expect four new iPhone models in September 2022. At the Apple event, the company is expected to unveil the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max as its top-tier flagship smartphones. Alongside this, there will be a regular iPhone 14 that will sit below the iPhone 14 Max. Apple is said to be ending the mini line this year.

Ahead of the launch, some key details about the upcoming iPhones have been leaked online. Analyst Ming -Chi Kuo has revealed the display and performance details of the new iPhones due later this year. Let’s take a look at the Apple iPhone 14 series specs and features that have been leaked ahead of launch.

Specifications of the Apple iPhone 14 series

Apple is rumored to release four new iPhone 14 models later this year. Two of the four models will receive the Apple A15 Bionic chip. According to analyst Kuo, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will get the same chipset as the iPhone 13 series. The two 2022 iPhones will feature the Apple A15 chip, which is currently the most powerful processor among all smartphones.

On the other hand, the Pro models will get the updated Apple A16 Bionic chipset. Details about the processor remain unknown, but we can expect it to come with certain upgrades related to performance and efficiency.

The analyst also notes that the regular models will get 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while the Pro models will ship with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Kuo confirmed the display size of the four models. The vanilla iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will feature a 6.1-inch display, while the 14 Max and 14 Pro Max will get a larger 6.7-inch display. Apple is rumored to have ditched the notch in favor of a hole-punch and tablet-shaped notch on the Pro models. Regular iPhone models will get notches.

In addition to this, the Pro models are said to get a 48-megapixel main camera sensor, which will be a major upgrade from the current 12-megapixel sensor found in the iPhone 13 series.
