Like the previous installments, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet contains many unique Pokemon. Gimmigul is one of the rare Pokémon that can be found randomly in the Paldea region. But most players are confused by the Gimmigul Coins they receive. Although these coins are collectible, what are they used for? Check out our guide to learn all about Gimmigul Coins in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

What are Gimmigul Coins in Pokemon Scarlet Violet

As mentioned earlier, Gimmigul Coins are a type of collectible that can be found in the Paldea region. These coins are dropped by Gimmigul’s Wandering Form and Pokémon Chest. You can use these coins to turn your Gimmigul into a Goldengo Pokémon. But for this you need to get 999 Gimmigul Coins in PSV.

How to find Gimmigul coins in PSV

You can find the Rogue and Gimmigul Shape Chest to get Gimmigul Coins.

  • Speaking of roaming form, you can get coins just by interacting with these Pokémon. Each Rogue or Rogue Gimmigul can reward you with 1 to 10 Gimmigul Coins.
  • But you need to find them all over the open world. So, here are all the Gimmigul Roaming locations:

  • If you are looking for more coins, you may need to go to their chest form.
  • When you find Gimmigul in the form of a chest, you need to defeat him in battle to get coins.
  • After they are defeated in battle, they can reward you with 50-80 Gimmigul Coins.
  • The drop rate of these coins may vary depending on your level. You can also get up to 777 coins by defeating the chest form. But note that the rates for this are quite low.

The only way to get the Gholdengo Pokémon is to evolve the Gimmighoul Pokémon. So, collect as many Gimmigul Coins as possible to get 999.
